Mar 20, 2016 When I change input language with shortcut Windows Button + space there is an option to select Gujarati indic input 3 64 Bit but after updated to windows 10 there is no such option to select Gujarati Indic Input 3 64 Bit. I type lot of Gujarati using Gujarati Indic Input 3 64 Bit because it provides different keyboard layout.

I have been facing the same problem in regard to Hindi since Windows 8.1. While Google Input Tools shows on the language bar, MS Hindi Indic Input does not. I have tried all the suggested methods, but none has worked. I was hoping Windows 10 would come with some improvement, but looks like this problem is non-existent or very low on the priority list of the developers of the Operating System. I am able to use Google Input Tools, but prefer MS Input method, which, I think, is more convenient and better developed.
I wish and hope that someone at the helm takes a more serious notice of the problem and tries to solve it instead of offering the stock solutions which do not seem to be working at all.
I would love to hear gratefully from any one who can help deal with the situation. Thanks for your attention!

Hello
The above process does not work.
With Windows 7, Indic Input Method provided us a choice of input methods including transliteration. This Option for keyboard type is no longer available in Windows 10. 'Inscript' the only option provided is very inconvenient to use.
Basically under WIndows 10 I can no longer type in India languages using a regular QWERTY English keyboard.
It is irritating that a feature that was available with earlier versions of Windows has been removed with what is supposed to be an 'upgrade'.
Regards,

This process is to add a language. It's O.K. But problem is about adding an input method.
Indic input method is easier to use for Indian languages, but not available yet on windows 10. it worked superb in windows 8.1, 8, 7 vista and even in XP.
we expect Microsoft to fix this Issue.

Report it using the built-in feedback app in Windows 10. It will probably register more with the development team if they receive enough direct feedback.

I can't even use Google Input as Assamese language is not supported by Google input. If I would have known this issue before, I would not have migrated to Windows 10. Windows 8.1 used to support Indic input method for Assamese language. Method suggested by Sangeeta is useless as it makes the whole process slow. Why would Microsoft do this ( take out an existing working app) is beyond my comprehension. I had reported this by using the built in feedback app but no response.

After 2 months efforts I have succeeded, first of all remove/uninstall your language for example Hindi, in case you have added from language preferences. Than install google input tool Hindi. After installation complete you will see Hindi Google Input tools in you language bar, Click Hindi google input tool or hit ALT+SHIFT and start type in Hindi. The same method may be apply for all the language.
Thank you all cheers !!!!
